How Can severe Nausea Along With Vomiting Be Treated?

Any thoughts on why my aunt would be experiencing nausea and vomiting bile? This started about 6 months ago. No weight loss. No reflux. Feels better following. Happening weekly to every other week. Gallbladder has been removed. Has kidney failure and receives dialysis three times a week.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to severe gastritis. As a first line management, you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
